As a Software Development Engineer, you will work and be responsible for the sleep therapy platform powering sovaSage. Great candidates for this position will have a passion for designing and deploying scalable solutions in the cloud. You will design, implement, test, and deploy the complete solution, from the front-end to the back-end to the database.
Basic Qualifications
• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
• 3+ years experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, of JavaScript
• 1+ year experience with a functional programming language such as Clojure, Scheme, or Haskell
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Clojure/ClojureScript
• Experience with AWS cloud environment (IAM, Lambda, EC2, S3, Lambda, etc)
• Solid background in web technologies
• Ability to work both independently on ambiguous problems and in highly collaborative team environments
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
