Adgoji is an ad technology company that has a dream to change the way digital advertising is done right now. We envision a world where everyone can run digital advertising campaigns without the need to be an advertising technology expert nor needing large and expensive advertising buying teams to accomplish the task. adgoji runs digital advertising campaigns all over the world on behalf of companies like Adecco, Tempo Team, Energie.be, Daelmans, MeetKai, Sea Shepherd and more. Adgoji uses that experience to build better, simpler and more effective tools. We process a lot of data and do complex data analysis to offer suggestions to improve performance automatically. We run our company with OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and use elements from the Lean Startup method to iterate quickly and focus on things that add value for our customers.
Adgoji develops in Clojure and ClojureScript. We are looking for junior software engineers that are interested in learning Clojure or ClojureScript and work with us to change the way digital advertising works.
What would you do at adgoji?
Adgoji builds smart tools that help advertiser to handle complex task and data analysis. You will learn to build API's to platforms like Google, Facebook and others. You will learn to handle, store and retrieve large data sets. You will learn to perform algorithmic computations to retrieve valuable information and patterns. You will learn to use Heroku and Amazon to automatically setup up infrastructure and accomplish tasks.
Who are we looking for?
- You are passionate about simplicity and want to learn every day
- You have some experience with development and really want to learn to apply Clojure.
- Experience with Clojure is preferable but a willingness to learn the language is just as important
- Work on open source projects or your own projects is a nice extra
- You want learn new things and have a laser focus on solving problems
- You can take responsibility, deliver as promised and are a real team player
- You speak Dutch or English fluently
- You are close to our office in Amsterdam, we prefer to see each other a few times a week
