Command Zero is looking to revolutionize the way in which organizations conduct cyber investigations. The founders have been a part of 6 successful cybersecurity acquisitions to date including exits to Symantec, McAfee, Sourcefire and Cisco. Backed by leading tier-1 VCs, and dozens of cyber executives and thought leaders, Command Zero is currently in stealth mode.
Our team is predominantly remote, distributed across North America. This environment necessitates strong communication skills, sociability, and pride in carrying out duties and responsibilities, holding ourselves to a high standard. We foster a culture of mutual respect and inclusion. If you enjoy working with a group of creative, talented, and enthusiastic teammates to solve challenging problems, while having a real impact on the security of organizations worldwide, then this is place for you.
We draw on the best of agile themes and techniques of the past 30 years with continuous integration & deployment, testing, and flexible collaboration across the team. This iterative process optimizes our releases cycle for more effective delivery.
We are currently looking for an experienced software developer to help design, build and maintain code in Clojure. Candidates must be in either the United States or Canada.
What You'll Do:
As a Software Engineer, you'll bridge our front-end product and various backend services, developing and refining our software platform with your Clojure and data engineering expertise. You'll transform user interactions with our cyber threat intelligence and digital forensics data stores, automating and streamlining complex processes.
In our small, high-paced, distributed startup team, clear communication, flexibility, and commitment to superior product quality are all of paramount importance. You'll collaborate with our UI, backend development, research, and operations teams, influence architectural and design strategies, and engage in code reviews. Your decisions will shape our systems' performance, reliability, scalability, and simplicity. You'll be expected both to learn, and to teach.
Who You’ll Work With
Our team is distributed across The United States and Canada. We work mostly from home and occasionally come in to the office—if necessary. We very much value verbal and written communication skills, sociability, and pride in carrying out duties and discharging responsibilities with exuberance and alacrity.
We draw on the best of agile themes and techniques of the past 30 years—continuous integration and deployment, testing, flexible collaboration with distributed team members via chat and video, and gradual, deliberate optimization of process in the name of keeping projects and releases flowing smoothly. Above all, we provide an excellent product to our customers. We are surrounded by talented QA, UX, support and management - we hold ourselves and one another to very high standards.
