Job description
Dividend Finance is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us deliver our next generation renewable and home energy lending platform. Our technology combines an internally developed Clojure based orchestration layer integrating internally developed Single Page Applications and commercial software components and services to deliver a flexible and robust lending platform. To be successful in this role, this individual should have a strong voice for clean, clear code with automated testing and advocate for continuous process improvements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Achieve operational excellence by automating processes and writing maintainable, supportable and testable code
Collaborate in a cross-functional team to deliver new features in a timely manner
Engage in professional software best practices (source control, dev/stage/prod pipeline, live monitoring)
Maintain legacy code alongside developing new solutions
Assist and mentor junior developers
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering / Information Systems or related discipline.
5+ years professional software development experience
Experience with JVM-hosted development
Experience creating and consuming RESTful
Experience with service-oriented architectures
Experience developing single page web applications preferred
Experience with Clojure and/or Clojurescript preferred
Experience writing Solar or Lending software preferred
Experience with Salesforce (Apex) preferred
