Want to advance your career in software development? Looking to work with the latest technologies at a leading Fintech?

We are fans of Clojure, using it as the primary language for our newest product and are now looking for more Clojure Engineers to join our team!

You will contribute to all aspects of development lifecycle with the majority of your time devoted to design and coding in Clojure. It’s likely you will have to spend considerable effort building your financial services domain knowledge and understanding of bank processes around seemingly simple concepts like interest, deposits, payments etc.

You will be proactive in sharing knowledge outside of the immediate project, helping others develop functional programming skills and raising awareness of ‘interesting’ technologies.

The Role:

We are looking to augment the existing team with an experienced Clojure Engineer that can contribute to and encourage the team in best practices, libraries and supporting tools.

We are looking for someone with:

Enthusiasm, excellent judgement and communication skills with demonstrable curiosity and passion for new technology;
Experience delivering solutions in Clojure;
Experience of some of the following would be useful, but we're equally interested in the new skills and technologies you will bring to us: Kafka, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker;
Some experience of React and GraphQL would be of value, but the focus of the role is very much Clojure and surrounding ecosystem;
Financial Services experience would be advantageous.
